The Airports Authority of India (AAI), Regional Headquarters – North Eastern Region (NER), is inviting online applications for various Non-Executive positions on a regular/permanent basis. Selected candidates will be posted at various airports across the North Eastern states.

Education Criteria
Educational requirements depend on the specific post applied for:
- Senior Assistant (Electronics):
- Qualification: Diploma in Electronics, Telecommunication, or Radio Engineering.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in the concerned discipline is mandatory.
- Junior Assistant (HR):
- Qualification: Graduate degree from a recognized university.
- Skill Requirement: Must pass a mandatory Computer Literacy Test in MS Office after the written exam.
- Junior Assistant (Fire Services):
- Qualification: 10th pass followed by a 3-year approved regular Diploma in Mechanical, Automobile, or Fire disciplines OR 12th pass (Regular Study).
- Driving License: Must possess a valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License, or a Medium Vehicle License issued at least 1 year ago, or a Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) license issued at least 2 years before December 6, 2025.
- Domicile Requirement: Candidates must be domicile residents of Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, or Tripura.
Age Limits and Relaxations: The cut-off date for determining age is December 6, 2025.
- Minimum Age: 18 years.
- Maximum Age: 30 years for General category candidates.
Category-wise Relaxations:
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): Relaxed by 3 years (up to 33 years).
- SC / ST: Relaxed by 5 years (up to 35 years).
- PwD (Persons with Disabilities): Relaxed by 10 years.
- AAI Regular Employees: Relaxed by 10 years.
- Ex-Servicemen: As per Government of India guidelines based on years of military service rendered.
For the AAI Non-Executives Recruitment 2025-26 (North Eastern Region), the application fee details are as follows:
- General / OBC / EWS: ₹1,000 (Inclusive of GST).
- Exempted Categories (No Fee):
- Women candidates (all categories).
- SC / ST / PwBD (Persons with Benchmark Disabilities).
- Ex-Servicemen.
- AAI Apprentices who have successfully completed one year of apprenticeship training in AAI.
- Payment Mode: The fee must be paid online only through the designated payment gateway (Net Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card, or UPI) during the application process.
- Important Note: The application fee is non-refundable.
