Eligibility Criteria

  • Trainee Engineer-I: 4-year full-time B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc Engineering degree with “Pass Class” in relevant disciplines (Electronics, Mechanical, Computer Science, Electrical, or Chemical).
  • Trainee Officer-I: MBA in Finance with “Pass Class”.
  • Experience: Generally no prior experience is required for these trainee roles.

Age Limits and Relaxations

  • Maximum Age: 28 years (as of January 1, 2026).
  • Relaxations:
    • OBC (NCL): 3 years (up to 31 years).
    • SC/ST: 5 years (up to 33 years).
    • PwBD: 10 years additional relaxation.

Salary and Benefits

  • 1st Year: ₹30,000 per month.
  • 2nd Year: ₹35,000 per month (on extension).
  • 3rd Year: ₹40,000 per month (on extension).
  • Additional Benefits: ₹12,000 annual allowance for insurance premium, attire, stitching, and footwear.

Selection Process

  1. Written Test: Objective-type exam (typically 100 marks).
  2. Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates will be called for verification at the venue.
  3. Interview: Some units (like Kotdwara) may include an interview.
