Eligibility Criteria

  • Educational Qualification:
    • Engineering: B.E. / B.Tech / B.Sc. (Engg.) / 5-year Integrated M.Tech with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks.
    • Science: M.Sc. in Physics, Chemistry, Biosciences, Geology, or Geophysics with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks.
  • Final Year Students: Candidates appearing for final exams in 2026 are eligible, provided they submit proof of completion by July 31, 2026.
  • Nationality: Only Indian Citizens are eligible.

Age Limits and Relaxations (As on August 1, 2026)

  • General/EWS: 26 Years
  • OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 29 Years
  • SC/ST: 31 Years
  • PwBD: 10 years relaxation in respective categories.
  • Ex-Servicemen: Relaxation as per Government of India norms.

Salary and Benefits

  • Stipend (During Training): ₹74,000 per month + one-time book allowance of ₹30,000.
  • Pay Scale (After Appointment):
    • Level 10 of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix.
    • Initial Basic Pay: ₹56,100.
    • Total CTC: Approx ₹1.35 Lakhs per month (including HRA, DA, and TA in metro cities).
